Please go through the brochure before you go for registration.
After your registration with one of the GATE scores (preferably the
highest one), please add the additional GATE scores when you login into
the portal for the 1st time.
After your registration is over, User id will be sent to your
registered email address and SMS will be sent to your registered mobile
number. Please check your spam folder, if you are unable to see the
email in your inbox. Password to be sent by mobile may take some time
because of the network issue of the service provider. Please wait for
some time in case you don’t receive the password.
If you have multiple GATE scores and you are not able to add the
scores of previous years in COAP, it may happen because your current
NAME (as per GATE 2022 scorecard) mismatches with the names given in
previous years GATE scores cards. Please check your names with all the
GATE score cards and if there is a mismatch, please write to us quoting a
subject “Name mismatch”. Please include the name and registration
number year wise in the email.
Please wait for a couple of working days to resolve your problems.
To register at COAP 2022, a candidate must have the
following data i) Name, ii) GATE Registration number(s), iii) Valid GATE
score(s), iv) Date of birth, v) Email ID, vi) Mobile number.
Only those candidates who have qualified in GATE 2022/
2021/ 2020 and wish to apply for M.Tech. admission in any of the
participating institutes / PSUs job offers are eligible to register at
COAP2022. After successful completion of registration at COAP, a
candidate will be able to access information on offers made by the
participating Institutes. Offers will be uploaded by the participating
Institutes / PSU's at COAP and will be tagged with COAP registration
number.
Registration will only be successful, when a candidate
completes the log-in procedure with the help of the input received via
Email / SMS. Email will contain a website URL for logging-in along with
the login ID. SMS will contain the password.
Candidates are advised to enter all valid GATE scores (GATE
2022, GATE 2021, GATE 2020), if any, while filling the application.
Otherwise, click on the SUBMIT button to complete the registration
process.
The application process to COAP2022 is complete only after
clicking on the "SUBMIT" button upon first time login to the
candidate’s login account.

In each round of offers candidates should login to the COAP2022 portal to view and take action as depicated in the flow chart below.
If a candidate does not access the COAP portal or does not
make a decision during a particular round of offers, then all offers made
during that round (including the retained offer from the previous round) will
be considered as 'Rejected' by the candidate. Nevertheless, in case, if the
candidate has given higher preferences, then the candidate will be considered
for the higher preferences in the subsequent round(s) of offers.
If
the candidate has made decision of 'Retain and Wait' in any of the previous
rounds but does not access the COAP or does not make a decision (or not
clicking 'Submit') during any subsequent round of offers, then all offers made
during that round (including the retained offer from the previous round) will
be considered as Rejected by the candidate.

After a successful registration and while doing your first login, you must add all other valid Gate scores. This option will not be available during the later stages.
